Camera Pinta
This room inside the Torre Maestra, which was the studiolo of the castellan, is divided into two by an arch. It contains a number of important frescoes (ca. 1400) that were uncovered during the recent restoration. Marino Tomacelli probably commissioned them during his long period as castellan (1392 – 1416). The room also contains a number of frescoes of the Tomacelli arms.

These frescoes, which are not by the artist who painted the opposite wall, seem to belong to a single narrative cycle in which a knight secures the services of Cupid in order to win the heart of a lady.
